Here's why.  1. Learning doesn’t just happen in a classroom. Our professors are big proponents of taking **trips to Center City Philadelphia for experiential learning. **  2. You dream it, we have it. Philly is known for its **coveted internship opportunities** at Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, leading medical centers, and professional sports teams.   3. You’ll never be bored. When you’re looking for some time to relax with friends, you’ll have so much to choose from here in Philly. For instance, enjoy a bike ride along Kelly Drive or take the day to try a new restaurant. 4. You’ll be part of an inclusive community. As one of the largest cities in the country, you'll make so many connections as you participate in various events, attend a show, or explore the city.  5. Opportunity is always within reach. As an Explorer, you’ll have access to networking and career development events with successful La Salle alumni from around the region.  Another perk? You may see some **famous faces around campus**. [Adam Sandler visited our Tom Gola arena](https://www.lasalle.edu/blog/2022/06/13/lights-camera-la-salle/) last year to film the movie *Hustle*.   --- [Prev](https://explore.lasalle.edu/blog/achieving-your-dreams) #### [Achieving your dreams](https://explore.lasalle.edu/blog/achieving-your-dreams) [Next](https://explore.lasalle.edu/blog/applying-to-college-all-about-your-high-school-transcript) #### [Applying to college: All about your high school transcript](https://explore.lasalle.edu/blog/applying-to-college-all-about-your-high-school-transcript) ## Recommended for you [![](https://explore.lasalle.edu/hs-fs/hubfs/220420-lasalle-marketing-0100%20(1).jpg?width=352&name=220420-lasalle-marketing-0100%20(1).jpg) industry-insights](https://explore.lasalle.edu/blog/how-to-make-sure-your-credits-transfer) ### [How to make sure your credits transfer](https://explore.lasalle.edu/blog/how-to-make-sure-your-credits-transfer) ### Maximizing your credits You've already completed some coursework, and it's important that the...
