Here are 4 ways to ease yourself into the college search process.  **Do a digital deep-dive ** Start your college search by researching school websites, watching videos, and following schools on social media. Read what each college sends you and don’t forget to review information on third party websites like [The College Board](http://www.collegeboard.org/). **Consult with the experts ** Your school counselor knows *a lot* about colleges, the admission process, and you, and can be a great source for more tips and advice tailored to your interests. **Uncover your options** Attend a spring college fair either at your high school or a local community college. Use this time to ask questions about majors, extracurricular activities, and visit options. **Scout new territory** Plan a college visit in the spring or summer to get a feel for college life.
